This project transformed Civic Triangle Park through a series of environmental restoration and public accessibility improvements. Work included dewatering and dredging the existing pond, construction of a 200-foot-long PermaTrak precast concrete boardwalk supported by a drilled helical pile foundation and cantilevered over the water’s edge, and installation of approximately 18,000 square feet of ADA-compliant sidewalks and ramps throughout the park. Additional improvements included new site lighting surrounding the pond, construction of a wetlands garden, placement of turtle basking logs, installation of a 600-foot dry-stacked stone wall, and interpretive signage, creating an accessible and environmentally enhanced public space.
